Marcus Walter's Illustrations for Fair Trade

Tonight's the night to see the Channel 4 debut of Marcus Walters' illustrated TV ad for Fairtrade's 'The Big Swap' Campaign. The illustrations are also being used in PR, advertising and merchandise. The project was created and commissioned by Wieden + Kennedy London.

"It was great to work with Wiedens on the Fairtrade project. The whole project was created using collage - a style which I usually save for making artworks, but the tactile, hand made approach really worked in tandem with the designs, typography and most importantly the subject matter." Marcus Walters.

Last week the mighty Lawrence Watson shot the latest signing to Mercury records Tiffany Page. Lawrence brought his signature style of rock 'n' roll photography to create some truly classic 'n' authentic images as we shot in and around the Electric Ballroom in Camden.
We predict big things for Tiffany, an original artist, great voice and tunes, oh and we confess we may have a bit of a crush on her too...

You can download the song 'Roam' for free via Tiffany Page's Myspace

As soon as the press shots are published we'll be posting them here!

It's a Spiritual Thing

A couple of weeks back we headed all the way up the north A1 to the beautiful Lindisfarne, AKA 'Holy Island' to shoot a press session for new band Detroit Social Club (Fiction Records). The photographer Jon Bergman wanted to give the band a great outdoors vibe. We shot by the Sea, the Causeway, the Priory and the Dunes.

The island can only be accessed twice a day by car over a causeway when the tide is out, so we had to be quick moving around the different locations so as not to be stranded when the tide came in, inevitably we came close...

After lunch at the Island's Ship Inn, we headed to an old WWII bunker to shoot some night scenes with lanterns, torches and make shift fires. Watch this space to see the pictures.
