Illustrator Supermundane has created this wonderful cover for Wallpaper magazine. You can also see a VIDEO of Supermundane creating his cover on the Wallpaper website.

FASHION ILLUSTRATION NEXT BY LAIRD BORRELLI

The following images are from 'Fashion Illustration Next' by Laird Borrelli which features, among others, some lovely illustrations by Bernie Reid. Though not a new publication these images have not been featured on our blog or website before so we thought it would be great to share them here.

The book is a follow up to Borelli's 'Fashion Illustration Now' and is a visual collection of over forty of the foremost fashion illustrators of the time and discusses the artists techniques and approaches to fashion illustration.

Today Jocelyn Bain Hogg's latest book arrived at Skinny Dip HQ. This book, presented by Thomas Pink, sees Jocelyn turn his lens on British merriment and social gatherings in a real celebration of Britishness. With this book Thomas Pink wanted to create a "visual history of those occasions that show off so well and which tell insiders and onlookers alike so much about who we are today."


"Ball gowns with wellingtons, champagne and raincoats, high heels and horse manure: the great British psyche, as revealed in this magnificent collection of photos of the nation at play, is both manicured and yet possesses a naughty irreverent shadow side."

It's Nice That talk by Supermundane

Supermundane (a.k.a Rob Lowe) gave a talk at It's Nice That and GF Smith's 'Beauty in the Making' event. The talks take place as part of "GF Smith’s five-day exhibition celebrating artistry in all creative practices, the space will also play host to installations, workshops and live demonstrations exploring paper-making and craft, with input from Montotype and the British Council’s Architecture, Design and Fashion department."
