Sweden-born photographer John Gripenholm creates fashion and advertising images with a signature use of light, movement and playful take on the sense of scale. Whilst he was still assisting he bagged a London International Advertising award and a Cannes Lions Gold and was selected as a 'rising photographer' by Dazed in 2007. Editorials such as 125, Dazed, Bon, Lurve and Nico soon led him into advertising for Lee Jeans, Frank Dandy, Fadi Khoury Couture, 3 and Monki.
As well as shooting fashion, portraits, music, advertising and working on personal projects, he's a big fan of kickboxing and football.
John lives with his girlfriend and two children and loves to leave the town for the countryside in which he grew up.
